While previous editions of the congress have been held in Nigeria (2017), Kenya (2019), and Uganda (2021), IEEE Nigeria Young Professional Group is awarded the hosting right for the 2023 congress for the second time in the city of Abuja, Nigeria. Abuja is a prominent city in the continent and Nigeria’s political and administrative capital. It is commonly referred to as the melting point of Nigeria’s highly diversified cultures.
